In with us, Julia Schwarzbach, together with performer Nic Lloyd, examines ways of being-with – between bodies, space, objects, and sounds. The artists engage with forms they may know little about but are fascinated by. Some of what they evoke is personal, some is universal and ubiquitous. They talk about things they can only imagine, about things they can grasp with their hands, and about things they cannot grasp any longer – that have started to fade away and disappear. But even if they vanish, things are with us. And some things that looked like they were in terminal decline, might rush back in, urgent and transformed, new and revitalized, changed.
